In his so-called real life, tawmas was born in 1970 in Vico Equense, Italy, as Tommaso R. Donnarumma. He’s been living in Rome since 1971.
At work, he’s the Head of Software Development and an IT consultant in a web firm named Kaoma, where he started as a PHP developer. He also leads the Kaoma LAB initiative, devoted to training, developer community and R&D.
For software development, tawmas likes dynamic programming languages such as Ruby, Python and (even, some would say) PHP. He’s also at good standing with HTML and CSS, and a self-invited expert of the W3C HTML WG.
Besides that, the defining, recurring passions of tawmas are music (especially classical music, with a twist for Baroque music in general and above all J.S. Bach), photography (where he still has lots to learn), and reading (greedily).
In pursuing his always moving aims, tawmas also cultivates, to a lesser extent, some more disparate interests, ranging from particle physics to linguistics and from linux to martial arts, or at times even from A to Z…
